Morris County is among the fastest growing counties in the New Jersey, New York, Connecticut metropolitan region. It is approximately 30 miles northwest of New York City.

Morris County real estate is popular because of its natural beauty, because the county is a major source of employment and because it has convenient transportation by car, bus, railroad, and airports. Morris County real estate offers rural, suburban, and urban residential living with historically increasing values.

Morris County suburbs are scattered amidst rolling landscape dotted with lakes and rivers which form some of its boundaries with the adjacent counties. Much of its beauty has been protected by the Morris County Board of Chosen Freeholders.

The Morris County Park Commission, one of the region’s best park systems in the state of New Jersey, currently protects and maintains 18,600 acres at 38 distinct sites and offers a year-round calendar of events and activities.

Located in northwest New Jersey, Morris County is home to 39 municipalities covering a 477.8 square mile area. Temperatures vary widely from area to area. Temperatures average in the mid 20s during winter months and the low 70s in the summer months. About 50 inches of rain and 35 inches of snow fall each year.

Morris County has three universities, a two-year County College, and a County Vocational Technical School. Various hospitals, nursing homes, and other healthcare facilities are located in Morris County. Morris County also has the largest number of shopping malls in the State of New Jersey.
